The wait is finally over for one of the most anticipated games of the year for ARMYs. BTS world, a game developed by the collaboration of Bighit Entertainment and Netmarble allows players to delve into BTS’ debut story all the way back in 2012. The goal is to help BTS debut by clearing various mission, challenges, levelling up cards, making choices etc. The game gets creative and interactive with texts and calls from the members while playing. A big surprise was the ‘Another Story’ option, not revealed too long ago. It allows the players to indulge with individual members in their own individual stories with different storylines. In the start the game took players back to 2012 when the group was in formation and only Namjoon had signed the contract. From here on ARMYs have to collect all the members and form the group by passing challenges and doing various other activities like attending calls answering messages and commenting on their posts on social media. The game enables you to add friends using a unique code for each player and friends can play by swapping inventory like wings, cards, etc. This game has been under progress since 2 years and reveals a really good deal of media including HD videos, pictures and voice notes. It is also a good guide for the new ARMYs to know about BTS' debut.
A few weeks back, the official release date for the game was revealed as 26th June along with an announcement of it's OSTs. Each OST consisted of a surprise collaboration starting with Dream Glow released on 7th June sung by Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and featuring Charli XCX.
The second OST, A Brand New Day got released a week later on 14th June sung by V and J-Hope, featuring Zara Larsson.
The third OST called All Night was released on 21st June as a collaboration of Juice WRLD with RM and Suga.
The next day a title OST, 'Heartbeat' sung by the 7 members of BTS was announced to be released exclusively in the game for two days before officially being available on music streaming sites on 28th June. However ARMYs cracked up the game files and got the OST before it being released.
ARMYs all around the world were excited to see the boys act in the game as well as play it to experience what it is as a manager. As of now, the game is thoroughly being enjoyed by tons of ARMYs though there have been some complaints regarding usage of pronouns, sentiments lost in translations and trigger warnings. Even through some complications, the game is doing well and is a fun and enjoyable one as a work of fiction.
