Kinetic Manifesto Film for ON By BTS is finally here along with their new album Map Of The Soul : 7!

BTS ARMY were pretty spoiled this morning by the release of a teaser for the latest album Map Of The Soul : 7’s lead single ‘ON’ on TikTok at 2:30 am IST along with the 'ON Challenge' where TikTok celebrities and others participate to help the song go viral. Hours later, YouTube Music ads were spotted offline which contained a teaser of the Kinetic Manifesto Film.

The boys then gifted ARMYs with Comeback Special : We Purple You from New York City on Vlive where they spoke about the album in detail and their solo and sub-units. They also gave us a spoiler of the dance which only increased our anticipation for the MV. BTS engaged ARMY with a brief 4 minute apple music interview where they were asked about the album and it's details. The boys answered the questions with grace and enthusiasm. They also had a brief interview with Spotify where they explained their experiences with Spotify and Namjoon gave Desimys a surprise when he acknowledged India and Indian ARMY’s efforts for trending #namasteBTS during Spotify’s Indian release.

RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook displayed their killer choreography in the Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima for lead single 'ON' with the release of Map Of The Soul : 7. The teasing for the album spanned over 41 days, starting on January 10 with the release of Comeback Trailer : Shadow, followed by the release of the album pre-release single Black Swan on January 17 and Comeback Trailer : Ego on February 3. The release of ON and the album marks the second last stage of the 4th phase, the last stage of which will be a week later on February 28 with the release of the Official MV for the Lead Single ‘ON’.

The Film begins with a shot The Blue Devils - a world class competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in Concord, USA - in the centre, in warrior base on an abandoned landscape playing drums to the opening of the song as the MV progresses to show BTS’ signature slick choreography. The member are all clad in white attire. Taehyung’s tattoo "the shadow like me" under his eye gained a lot of attention along with the other member’s varying hair colours.

Interestingly the boys did not have multiple costumes or locations in this MV which is focusing highly on the group’s hard-hitting choreography. The highlight of the MV includes BTS playing the drums during Suga, RM and Jhope's raps, the group shots and powerful slick moves by the members also, we absolutely can’t get over Jimin’s blue hair, can we? The MV ends with a break dance by J-Hope, V and Jimin; Jungkook, Suga and Namjoon who are then joined in by the rest of the group. There is also Jimin's iconic "jacket accident"!

BigHit Entertainment previously stated in the film premiere that it 'best depicts the concept of the lead single' and is the official video for 'ON'. In the video shared before the premiere of the members there is a snippet from the MV where RM says, 'It's our own honest story that we wanted to tell you, so hope you enjoy it', to which Jhope continued saying, ' Trust me, you won't be sorry you waited.' We are sure we don't regret the long wait at all as well, right?

The excitement for the official music video dropping next week could propel the album to a record breaking debut making its mark yet again on Billboard's Top 100 songs and Top 200 albums charts! Till then let’s keep streaming Map Of The Soul : 7 and ON.
