About Us
The Start
Mumbai Club of BTS ARMY is the first BTS Fanbase for Mumbai. The fanbase started off on June 13, 2018 with 5 admins initially. The whole idea of the fanbase started through a failed project, haha yes. It all started when we, ARMYs, took part in a worldwide ARMY Project (the 2!3! Project). Several Countries were included and from India 3 cities were chosen, Mumbai being a part of it. The Mumbai representative was looking for ARMYs from Mumbai and we formed a WhatsApp group chat by adding everyone. In that group chat we discussed the whole plan and procedure for the project and we recruited people to join the management team. In total the management team consisted of 5 ARMYs who basically managed to inform other ARMYs about the project, share the project on social networking sites, co-ordinate with the Indian representative, search for locations to hold the project and manage the WhatsApp group chat and clear doubts. We conducted the project successfully however on the release date of the video, we realized that our part did not make it. That's when one of the management team member came up with the idea of starting the fanbase. They thought, why let our hardwork go to waste? And that is when they created a Twitter account and a YouTube channel and posted the Mumbai Video for BTS' 5th Anniversary! The Birth of MCBA started from here.
The Motto
Initially our motto was to only do small online fan projects that could help unite Mumbai ARMYs since the Mumbai ARMY strength was very unknown to us and at that point in time it was difficult to reach out to ARMYs from all the locations considering Mumbai is a HUGE city. However now our motto has changed from not only conducting online fan projects but offline events and projects too. We have successfully planned and completed 45+ events and projects (Online + Offline). Our vision now is to be the hub for Mumbai ARMYs to unite, join in for events and projects, to stream and promote the Bangtan Wave in Mumbai!
The Growth
Mumbai Club of BTS ARMY started off from a failed project with around 40 ARMY participants. We have now had events and projects covering over 3000+ ARMYs and the growth continues! We started off with a following lesser than 100 and now are over 4k - 5k+ followers! Our admin team has as well faced a lot of changes and additions and we make sure to give in our best for each event and project held by us. We want to make sure that ARMY-life in Mumbai is fun, easier and informative. Check out our Social Networking Sites:
The Team
Intitially we started off with 5 management team members but now our team consists of 10 members! Our team is divided into categories: TeamTwitter, TeamInstagram, TeamBlog and we also have members who help with event related work. All the admins work together with the same passion and mindset to promote and support BTS in Mumbai and we brainstorm ideas for events and projects together!
